WHR's Runners Club
Meet at WHR each Tuesday at 6pm and start running! Whether you are looking for a group to run with or would like to set a goal with the group of running your first 5k, stop by on Tuesday and speak with Stephanie and GiGi. Weekend sessions are decided each week.
This group has been meeting for several weeks now and they are loving it. They are discovering new routes to run, meeting running partners and pushing beyond their self-imposed limits to reach new distances, quicker run times and overall success!
Functional Trainers Wanted
WHR Fitness is hiring certified, experienced personal trainers for our functional fitness department. We are, as we have for the past 30 years, growing with the industry. If you are a passionate, enthusiastic, organized fitness professional, you will want to be part of this team. The program is in the development stages and the trainers that get in early will have the added benefit of incorporating their ideas into this department.
have a current, nationally recognized personal training certification
be experienced in functional training with small groups
have the ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
be able to create and implement safe, effective training programs
Special consideration will be given to those trainers that have additional training/certifications such as group fitness, cycling (ie Spinning), kettlebells, etc.
